🎧 VCE 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Headphone Stereo Jack Cable Adapter Review

I bought a BAFX Products IR Repeater - Remote Extension Kit and it had a couple of extra sensors that I wasn't using so I bought it to connect one of my Harmony Smart Hubs and it works great.

Worked great for my purpose. I ended up not needing overnight delivery so I paid a bit more but they arrived quickly and so far 2 of the 6 I've bought have had no problems at all.

It fitted well and worked for a while but recently it loses connection and is now unusable. The original cable that came with my headphones works perfectly, so I guess I'll just have to use them. Time to try something different.

I returned them with no fault of the product. I just don't need a smaller adapter between headphones and CD player. Default 3.5 works fine.

Works very well allowing me to connect a 2.5mm jack landline phone to my computer (via a 3.5mm reversible adapter I already have had) to record oral family history information with relatives from other cities.

I bought this product just over a month ago, only had a chance to use it a couple of times and already the signal is only going to the right ear. This makes it a bit difficult to record in stereo. To be honest, that's my fault. When I took it out of the box I saw that it was of poor quality. Next time. I prefer to listen to my intuition. ;-/PS - Why is the rating 1 star? I bought this to have an extra cable when using Bose Soundlink headphones with my old non-Bluetooth iPod. This works BUT the sound only goes to one ear when fully connected to the headphones (smaller plug). To hear stereo sound, you have to move the headphone jack and it only needs to be inserted three-quarters of the way, making the cable loose and unsuitable for harsh environments. Bought these for 3.5mm audio cable. I accidentally bought when I needed 2.5mm. Instead of sending the cable back, I opted for this 3.5 to 2.5 adapter. The adapter worked quite well for several weeks. However, it was very annoying that the connector on my Bose QC35 fell out by itself with the slightest effort or pull. I originally rated these 5 stars but that was just for the fit. Now that I've tried it, I understand why it didn't get good reviews. This adapter is needed to use my wireless phone hands-free at home with cell phone in-ear headphones. The earphones have a 3.5mm plug which does not fit my Panasonic cordless phone jack which has a 2.5mm jack. I connect the headphone plug to the adapter and then connect the adapter plug to the phone.
