Simple and easy to use

Very easy to use, I spent less than 5 minutes studying the instructions, this is a very easy device to use. I particularly like that it only uses battery power for real-time functions, if you want to use it as a wired remote it works without the device being switched on.

Poor design and mediocre performance

I have several cable timers for different cameras. This is the poorest thing of all. This function is completely non-intuitive. It sometimes works with my Sony camera. I'm not sure if some functions work at all. I tried some long exposures and a time lapse. As far as I can tell, it just didn't work as advertised. I often use these timers for tripod shots in low light. This timer has a night light for working in the dark, but it burns so briefly it's practically unusable. It uses bulky AAA…

Works, but could be more intuitive.

This works and allows you to activate the shutter on Sony cameras like the A7 series with interval, delay, long exposure and burst modes. The main difficulty is that the timer functions are difficult to program until you understand that you MUST NOT turn on the timer until you connect it to the camera while the camera is off. Otherwise, this is an exercise in frustration. These conditions are stated in the instructions, but they are not stated in absolute terms and are not asserted with…
