Too bad! Such a shame! The quality of Vera Bradley has fallen to the quality of dollar store bags. And yet the prices keep going up until we all stop buying new ones. Vera Bradley will never go back to her amazing bag quality.

I really expected better quality from a Vera Bradley bag. Cheaply made, feels thin. The pattern is poorly chosen to show the pattern on the fabric. The zip pocket is sloppy. Other patch pockets are small. The strap looks like they used paper inside as a stiffener. All in all not what I expected. I had to buy a Sakroots bag.

I actually like the Carson East West Bag more than the regular Carson Bag. I find it has more room than a regular Carson / at least fits more. I also like the patch pocket behind the outer front pocket with a snap fastener. It doesn't have an external patch pocket on the back, but I don't miss it. The straps remain on the shoulder. this bag is a combination of mandy and an old saddlebag. Love it!

I love the Carson East West bag for my "big needs". Note: This is NOT a large bag, more of a medium bag, but it holds a lot. My disappointment concerns the tape. It does not matter. too light and not the same as the handle for my black carson bag, same. This strap is like leather and fits well on the shoulder. That might not be the deciding factor for most, but it's what stood out for me and ultimately caused me not to enjoy the bag.

Well I've loved Vera Bradley bags for years. This one seems to be the same as the previous ones but since I kept getting Mandy and it's no longer in production I got this one which replaced it. The fabric is nice, the outside pocket is nice, the leather details are nice. BUT inside where it has changed. Quilted vinyl, no cardboard on the bottom to hold it. I am so disappointed in this bag. I absolutely HATE the zipper and if I had seen it in the picture I would never have ordered this bag. It doesn't open smoothly and I have to pinch it with my fingers to make it open. It also feels like the Brillo pad is scratching your hand, not to mention it's just plain ugly and cheap looking. Why create a chic rustic quilted bag only to sport an industrial looking zip on it. I also wish it had 3 slides in the inner pockets or at least more. I spent days…
