Power protection: The psi5 1U 1440VA UPS offers AVR to correct most disturbances. Voltage Regulation from 83 to 159 VAC without using the battery. Space-saving 1U rack mount: get similar features as a 2U ups for this rack mount UPS in a compact 1U rack space. High power factor: This line interactive ups has 0. 9 output power factor, which means connected equipment gets more usable power. Remote management capability: you can add a network communication card to allow remote monitoring and power management (local USB or snap via optional Vertiv Liebert unity communication card). Programmable outlets: get 5 total outlets with 2 programmable outlets to prioritize critical loads on backup power.

No Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) support

The unit appeared to be well assembled, but when I first plugged it into the mains it emitted a horrible squeak. I think it was the fan bearings. The noise went away, but I couldn't make sure the fan was working properly. I tested it with 80% load, which caused the internal temperature to rise to 42 degrees Celsius and the fan never turned on. I emailed Vertiv and they never replied (1 week has passed at the time of writing). Sent back to Revain for a refund.

I have a couple of old Liebert UPSs that use VRLA (gel cells) batteries, but they don't last long and never seem to have enough charge when I need them for work. Just a day after installing this new lithium-ion pack, there was a momentary power outage of about 10-15 minutes and my computer and networking gear continued to run fine. I will never go back to lead acid batteries! Another nice feature is that the lithium block is noticeably lighter.

Great quality and works great! For as long as I can remember, Liebert has always offered quality products. (NOTE: This device doesn't use WiFi, I didn't have to call support, and I highly doubt it has a "sleep mode".)

The second time is nice. However, my return takes over 3 weeks and nothing else.

I ordered Vertiv Liebert PSI5 -1500VA/13500W 120V Lithium Ion UPS mini tower, the fan was noisy; very loud. The company sent replacements in a timely manner and it works as advertised. Thing is, it works so well I'd consider keeping both, but the noisy fan was unbearable. I returned the first tower about 3 weeks ago on 08/21/2021 and I haven't heard any news about my return. I have to say so far

Seems to work fine, not supported. NUT

I have installed this UPS in a rack and so far it is working fine. I was expecting to be able to just plug it into my Linux system via USB and control it with NUT (Network UPS Tools). However, this UPS is not supported by NUT. Argh. In case you're wondering, it uses a removable 48V, 5Ah/240Wh LiFePO battery. Big, but not that big: my $150 "solar generator" (which can be used as a UPS in a pinch) has a capacity of 333Wh (it's LiFePO if you're wondering), it's still going to be heavy . AVRโ€ฆ
