Description of 🔥 VEVOR Propane Knife Forge: Enhancing Blacksmithing Efficiency with Industrial Power & Hand Tools

Striking Power Output: Our propane knife forge is built to provide an approximate maximum heating temperature of 2300°F /1300 °C, enough for forging most metals. The 23 kW·h / 80000 BTU burner can boost the heating efficiency. The pre-rigidized insulation coating and the thick zr-al insulation blanket will help maintain the temperature for a long time. Large Chamber Size: Our propane forge boasts a spacious workspace, providing the ideal exposure to flame center spot thanks to the suitable chamber volume. Meanwhile, the shell made of steel is relatively rigid and durable for long-term usage. Gas Regulator & Flexible: This farrier forge has the function of gas pressure adjustment through spinning the knob on the gas pressure regulator. Besides, the ball valve can switch the gas output independently. Blacksmithing Forge Kit: We provide a complete kit of forging accessories to fit our propane forge, including a 9.8 ft long gas hose, furnace bracket, fire brick, high-temperature glove, and a tong. You can create your blacksmithing works at your will. Steps for Usage: Here is the basic using instruction of this propane forge for knife making. Firstly, put the fire brick into the furnace. Secondly, open all the gas inlet valves to release gas in a small volume. Then, ignite the gas. Finally, adjust the gas pressure to control the firepower depending on your need.

Not worth the time or money

Instructions are mostly absent when trying to assemble and to top it off the propane regulator dosage is not suitable for a propane tank. Update, after 2 different replacement regulators I did it with this case.

Pros
  • Kits
Cons
  • Not as thick as other kits

Very poor quality for welding and soldering

A torch will not ignite due to an imperfect manufacturing process, hoses and clamps leak due to inferior barb connectors. Replaced the top with a tube and a proper check valve and a burner still doesn't work. The regulator is weak and does not turn properly. Don't waste time, you can build a much better forge at home for less money. And don't get me started on the pliers they contain.

Pros
  • Gas welder
Cons
  • Socket required

Broken, no instructions for assembly and use.

We bought this for our son who has his own blacksmith shop and makes knives. We thought it would be handy for him to have a smaller one. However, it was leaking and we found that one of the valves was broken. We tried to contact the seller but no response. We will contact Revane. Chances are we'll just have to pick up the expense and try to fix it ourselves. But our son was very disappointed. The valves used were cheap 1/4" fittings with curved handles straight out of the box. But the leakage…

  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Some Beetles
