I'll update this review with thoughts on durability after owning it for a while. Out of the box, however, this is one of the most uncomfortable gloves I've ever had. This is partly because the armor on the back of the hand and fingers is stiff, but the fingers are also short, making it difficult to bend the gauntlet into a fist. I won't buy this again.

I used to wear them every day for HVAC work to protect my fingers through coolant spatter. But after about a week of twisting the open fishing line, I put the wobblers in. The seams on the right finger just came undone. The materials are strong, but the stitching isn't very good and the finishing hasn't been thought through. They would last longer when riding my bike off-road, but not with repeated use of my fingertips. I won't buy this again.

My husband and I tried many different gloves to find the perfect pair for our needs. That was great. Especially considering the price. They are comfortable, fit well, offer dexterity and hold up well no matter the activity. We do everything from carpentry to digging holes for posts to working with epoxy. I would give them five stars but the first few times they are soaked in water blue paint comes off my hands (I didn't paint them for more than a day). I look forward to trying the waterproof…
