I love them - not for running

they are great, my choice for daily walks on cold days, I use them with leggings. not suitable for running - the back is too high around the cure. on foot they are great.

Pros
  • large selection
Cons
  • some difficulties

The best so far! on Women

This is my 6th pair of Vibrams and I'm in love again. This is the first couple that is on the middle level. I find it offers extra ankle support in barefoot shoes and I'm so glad I went with this style. Plus they look great and are just as comfortable as any others I own, even around the ankle. To avoid chafing in the ankle area, do not overtighten the laces, but tighten enough for needed support.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Excellent women's shoes suitable

Vibram is the absolute leader. This is my third pair, the rest are 9 years old. I wear them often, probably my most worn shoes. I wear them everyday and hiking, even wear them all year round, I bought socks because my feet get cold on the concrete floor in my office at work. They work great together and my feet stay nice and warm. I've been wearing them for several weeks and they never fail to impress me. They are true to size and are very comfortable even with socks.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Price

Break them in: hiking and trekking

I'm the same size as the wool clothes (38) and it was a struggle to get them the first few times. I wore them around the house for 2 or 3 days to break them in. At first my knuckle hurt and one of my pinky fingers felt like the fabric was scratching it, but now they fit perfectly. I put on moleskin on the back and also bandages on the back of my ankles when I first wore them on a hike. I only drove about 3 km. They looked like slippers. I didn't feel the rocks under my foot and the grip wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Like everyone else
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

fits a little tighter than usual 5 fingers

I have 6 pairs of 5 finger vibras, all different models, 42 in total. They fit but feel a little tighter than all the others. It feels like the heel area could be thicker and they look more like 41.5s (if they existed). They also require you to loosen the laces a bit to put them on as there is no stretch in the heel area. I wish they had used a Salomon-like lacing system instead of traditional laces. Overall a good shoe but there are a few differences that cause them to fit slightlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • So far so good
