    Bumpy sole my review

    I sent them back as the sole, which should be smooth for ballet, is uneven on the toe and ball of the foot. No decent choreographer will allow these shoes with concave soles, proper footwork doesn't allow that. They also had no cross straps, as in the photo, but only one strap.

    Terrible fishy smell in my opinion

    While they look and fit well, they have a terrible fishy odor. I washed them and they still smell like fish. I just soaked them. Hope this gets rid of the smell.

    Ballerinas are not leather as advertised.

    I bought these apartments for my daughter as she outgrew her others pretty quickly! I wasn't sure at first because we had never tried this brand before. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of these apartments!

    Great ballet flats!

    These are great ballet flats! Let's do it skill! The only thing I didn't like was the smell when I took them out of the bag, the skin had a strange smell but it went away about a week after I left them. Otherwise they are well made.

    The smell is terrible!

    First I followed the chart and measured my child's feet. The shoes didn't fit; very very small. Second, these shoes smell TERRIBLE! It's disgusting. Something like plasticine, but with an admixture of vomit. I strongly recommend not buying these ballet flats.

    Smells like fish...

    I was so excited to buy these for my daughter on her first day of dancing. When they arrived in the mail they absolutely stank of fish...nothing to take the smell away and it was awful. At first I had no idea where the smell was coming from and when I found out it was shoes I was shocked. It was the strongest, most horrible smell. I've read that some leather sellers treat their skin with cheap unfiltered fish oil. This cheap fish oil still has the characteristic fishy odor of filter removers…
