I ordered 2 of these dresses for my girls size 2T and 5. Clothing labels say 2-3 years and 4-5 years. The 2-3 year olds were definitely big for my 2-year-old, but the 4-5 year olds fit my tall 4-year-old well and will probably last this winter and next fall. The dresses are comfortable and my kids loved them but I would advise being careful with the sizing. We really liked this dress but the first time my daughter put it on to church the bow fell apart and the ribbon started to crumble. We tried sewing the bow back on, but the ribbon was very cheap and was two pieces of fabric instead of a single piece. it was impossible. It wouldn't matter much if you didn't notice where the bow is buttoned, and now I have to find out. Too bad the bow fell apart while wearing it. I imagine if my daughter was actually playing at the time wearing it would have done

This is a very nice dress and it has pockets. My five year old great granddaughter squealed with delight when she realized she had bags. The cotton in this dress is very dense but not too heavy. It falls well and she likes to wear this dress all day to go to school and play. It is very well built and has a high build quality.
