I've been wearing them in the field for a while and they perfectly protect your boots and pants from things! Definitely waterproof and offer better support than most leggings. I'm concerned about the elastic that goes under the boot, but it likes to snag on things and fail when hiking. I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before it pops but it hasn't happened yet and I'm happy! If it is, it looks like it could be replaced.

I bought these boots to replace a 25 year old American made nylon and goretex boot. Vinqliq is very similar in design. The slight differences are that the forefoot doesn't reach the front of the boot and the girth is smaller than my old boots. Fits great, really better for my foot than the old ones. If there is too much fabric, the gaiters will get caught on the barbed or sage wire. The boot strap had survived miles of boulders and lava without a scratch. The strap at the top helps keep them up

I am a bow hunter and the leggings that most hunting companies sell are very expensive and not always of good quality. There's really no need to mask the ankles, so I looked for a cheaper alternative. These leggings are awesome! They are made out of very durable material and I can see they will last quite a while.
