When I got this I actually bought two of these. One and the other brand. I liked this one so much that I returned the one I didn't like and bought a second one. The orange color is great, I love the patterns. I will mainly use it for work at night when I need to park my work van near busy roads or highways. The second bought a personal car for emergencies on the road.

Summary: excellent lighting, less than outstanding listing transparency. Good: The light is bright, the pattern selection is varied and the construction is solid. The bad: Not listed Not to mention that the magnetic suction cup mount is only rated for speeds up to 40km/h. I only found out after reading the flyer in the box. Documentation is minimal with no instructions on where and how to mount, maintain and operate the lantern.

I was a little skeptical about this headlight based on some reviews of it turning off while driving. However, the combination of magnets and suction cups keeps it going even at highway speeds. In fact, it holds up so well that it's a bit difficult to remove for a car wash. My only complaint (and this is a very small complaint) is that the connector is too big to fit under my Jeep's roof rails, so I have to route the cable through the rail. Otherwise I am completely satisfied.

I use it on a fiberglass jeep for plowing. As you know, it's magnetic and won't stick to fiberglass, but if you buy a thin, rectangular piece of sheet steel the size of a lantern pole (15" x 10" or so), if you're going to hang the lantern from the roof, place it just put the sheet of steel INSIDE the jeep and it will stick to the roof just below the light bar and the magnets will hold the light in place pretty well. I wouldn't use this for highway driving, but it works great for slow plowing.

I bought this LED flashlight and loved the samples, the cord was long enough to reach the power supply. To be honest I had a flashlight on a truck and after 2 days in upstate New York there was a little condensation in the flashlight due to the electronics I was concerned about moisture damage. I emailed the company and they replied that the new light will be shipped with no questions asked. Fairly bright. Helps me to be seen in the field, when working with machinery, especially in mines and beyond. I took it apart exposing the plastic and also swapped out some of the LED connectors to make my own flash. Very happy with it. Maybe I can get another one for the back of the truck if I can't get the little turn signals. I hit 85 mph and it didn't roll off the roof of the truck. Addendum: Do not buy. The yellow LEDs did not last until September 22nd. Half of the lightbar stops working…
