My husband is diabetic and needs compression stockings. I've bought him six pairs over the last few years. I bought leg warmers from other brands that were cheaper but they turned out to be of poor quality or too short for his legs. I can rest assured that Vitalsox is the right size, has quality compression properties and can withstand frequent washing. (I don't use chlorine bleach or tumble dry them. They air dry very quickly.)

I am happy with these socks. They are very comfortable and easy to put on. They were also washed well and kept their integrity.

I have a size 13 foot and these socks fit well. One size smaller may fit for a thin person. They fit well, stay in place and are not too difficult to put on and take off. The thickness is like a tennis shoe. I also have low quarter socks and find this brand very high quality.
