I'm so grateful to Vivobarefoot for offering children's shoes with wide toes and minimal support. So much effort to "protect" kids' feet with thick soles, arch support, and narrow toe boxes on most other brands. Size varies and it took some trial and error to get the right size.

Pros
  • The shoes feature a non-slip design with Velcro closure, allowing parents to easily put on and take off their child's shoes when needed.
Cons
  • The size may not fit all children's feet, causing discomfort or difficulty in walking.

Great flexible sandals for kids

Like the shoes. However, the picture and description was for navy/orange and we received grey/navy blue shoes. My kid still loves her!

Pros
  • The shoes have a flexible sole that gives children's feet freedom of movement, promotes natural development and prevents foot deformities.
Cons
  • Vivobarefoot Baby-Girl's Primus Bootie Kid's Everyday Play Shoe may not provide enough support for children who need extra stability in their shoes.

These shoes are great for my four year old in the winter. They're still very flexible to allow him to do all those crazy things a four year old does outside, but they also keep his feet warm. He's had them for a few weeks and they're holding up well.

Pros
  • The Vivobarefoot brand is known for their eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing processes, making these shoes a responsible choice for eco-conscious parents.
Cons
  • The shoe's mesh upper may not be durable enough to withstand rough play, especially for active kids.

Our son complained that his legs hurt a lot.

Our son was always complaining of severe leg pain, we did a little research to see if that would help. They did! He hasn't complained since then!

Pros
  • The shoes have a comfortable and breathable lining that prevents sweating and keeps the child's feet cool.
Cons
  • Minimalist shoe designs may not provide adequate insulation or protection in cold or wet weather.

4 year old sensory girl loves her sandals!

My 4 year old sensory kid loves their "quick" shoes. She wears no shoes and has long, narrow feet. These work for you. She likes to wear them. Hold on tight even in the snow. The only problem is that it ties the velcro in the wrong place (above where it should be) so there are some issues with that.

Pros
  • The shoes are made from durable materials that ensure they will last and stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use by toddlers.
Cons
  • The gray and turquoise color scheme may not appeal to all children or parents.

Love it! -- my new rating

Over the years we have ordered different Vivobarefoot shoes for children and adults. These shoes are great - flexible, with a large toe box. Our 6 year old loves to carry them and is able to move and run with ease. They seem to be doing a great job of keeping his feet warm and dry in our wet winter. Very happy with the purchase and would buy this style again!

Pros
  • The combination of gray and turquoise is trendy and versatile, easy to combine with different outfits.
Cons
  • The cost of these shoes can be more than some parents are willing to pay for a toddler's everyday play shoes.

My 4 year old sensory child loves his "fast" shoes. She wears no shoes and has long, narrow feet. These work for you. She likes to wear them. Hold on tight even in the snow. The only problem is that she ties the velcro in the wrong place (above where she should be) so there are some issues with that.

Stylish, comfortable, barefoot and hiking!

I LOVE Vivoborefoot. We have several couples at home. Sometimes I have a hard time paying for baby couples, but I LOVE when I find them on sale. I needed a comfortable walking shoe for my 4 year old that wouldn't restrict his foot movement and I found them. I bought them straight away and was thrilled when they arrived. I bought them a little bigger to have room to grow but they still fit my little one perfectly. He's had them for a few months now, but he's still ranting, delirious, and wanting

Pros
  • practical item

  • so far, so good
