Scratched, has it been used before?

Came out of the box scratched. The medical mark is small as it is on such a small pendant you can see it in the photo. Should have been a gift but with all the scratches it's not an option. Waste of money, I will not give it to anyone because with already scratches I have to wonder if it is already used / worn. What happened to quality control?

I wouldn't get this again

What I love about it is that it attaches to almost anything and stays closed. In other words, the clasp did not disappoint. What I didn't like was that it was so small that it was almost impossible to read and soon not worth carrying. If I were to buy it again I wouldn't engrave by the seller but with the engraving of someone who would later have to look me in the eye.

Good size, material and text

It's a nice weight and doesn't feel like plastic in my hands. The gloss is nice but not so shiny that it looks like it has a fake top coat coat on it. It's small but big enough to serve its purpose. I put three lines of information on the back and it's legible. My child has been indoors since the pandemic so I don't know how he is coping with his usual activities (swimming and horseback riding).

I purchased this engraving on 10/26/16 and only received it on 11/16/16 so expect shipping from China to take some time. The disc is very thick, "Star of Life" is engraved on the front and on the back you can add what you want to engrave from 5 different fonts. My three criticisms (reason minus one star): The chain could have been a bit thicker, the chain length is closer to 22 inches than 24 inches, and I don't like the lobster clasp because it breaks easily (maybe tear off in an emergency…

Can't read lower case letters

DNR is so small you need a microscope to read it, it's pretty useless. You should put the DPR in capital letters and not revive at night, and a small letter. Necklaces are useless because if someone is trying to save your life they have to look for a magnifying glass? And at least I carry an advance directive with me and I need a new one and I write a DNR every time I get out of the shower and I was hoping it would give me more comfort but the handwriting is so small that you can't even read…

Looks like a decent stainless steel product for the price and the medical warning badge is attractive.

There is a beautiful clear medical alert emblem on the tag. Because it is stainless steel, it can be worn all the time without causing skin problems. I gave him a 4 because the engraving "Type 2 Diabetes" on the back looks rather flat and the cutting depth is a bit uneven. So I had to look closely to read the text. The chain is short so I order a separate stainless steel extension so it doesn't always have to be over my blouse or shirt. I am satisfied with the product.
