Doesn't work

I was excited to use this adapter so it didn't work. You can hear people on the phone, but people can't hear you. I used a Steelseries computer headset. The headset works fine with my computer but not with the phone and adapter.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Doesn't work with my NEC phone

This is not compatible with NEC dev xd w-3y bk model and Samsung headphones. The Questions section says NEC phones are compatible, but I checked mine and it's not. I should have just followed the ad compatibility warning with just their list.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I have an Avaya 2410 (listed under compatible devices). The audio works decently, you can hear the sounds of phones. The microphone input does not work when using a regular stereo + microphone headset. I even tried moving the connector a little further to see if the mic connection was misaligned, to no avail. This should be a fixable solution if the manufacturer has specified what pin configuration you need if it is a connector input issue.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here
