Baby loves this item

Baby loves this item. I enjoy the fact that he plays with him in different ways for months. I really appreciate the sounds that still give a warning beep when the battery is low. So it confuses the kid but still entertains him by telling me to prepare those 3 AAA batteries!

Bought it for my 1 year old granddaughter and her.

Bought for my 1 year old granddaughter and she loves it! It's so cute with lights and music. I thought the monkey was playing alone but it only plays when touched and only one touch. So she has to keep tapping it to make the monkey keep tapping. It's the only thing besides being cute.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Just say "knock on the drum " and nothing more!

This is the cutest thing and we know our 9 month old granddaughter would love it but she can't help but say 'knock on the drum'. No other sayings, music etc. Revine tried to fix our problem and replaced it quickly and by Christmas but the second one does the same. Very disappointed and so disappointing. We believe it could be a manufacturing issue with the chains.

Vtech is a great company

Amazing. Make no mistake with a Vtech toy, at least I haven't made a mistake yet. My oldest child is 20 and my youngest is 4 and vtech has turned up every birthday and Christmas and I've never had a problem with any of them. There are still works that are 10+ years old. Just remember to change the batteries from time to time. That's how every broken Vevekh toy came into my house. Battery acid attacks the springs. Sometimes you can clean up, and sometimes it's too late.

My 5 month old likes to see monkeys

I got this for my 5 month old son about a month ago. He enjoys watching the monkey play the snare drum. He also loves light. The only reason it got 4 stars from me is because it repeats a lot of the tunes. Instead of playing a different tune or set of tunes each time. It plays the same sound over and over before switching to a different sound or song. Maybe I just don't know how to use it, but I still haven't figured out how to get it to play songs and I've tried reading the instructions. But…

False advertising NO volume control

I don't know about you, but I find that most children's toys are set at a ridiculously loud volume. I mean, the kid is literally a foot away from the toy (or less) when playing with it, right? It should not be so loud for the child's hearing and the parents' mental health. So I'm always on the lookout for toys that advertise a volume control like this one. It's on Revain in the product description and printed right on the outside of the toy box. However, neither my husband nor I could find the…
