The PetriStor is designed for a gas stove. It worked great on my dual fuel Bosch. That being said I was initially a bit taken aback by the coating but in practice oh my god the waffles absolutely slipped off. The pattern of the waffles is crispy, crunchy, and when you squeeze the handles, the waffles are the perfect thickness.
