Cute hat, but the typical adjustable back strap doesn't close tight enough to stay in place when fitting a smaller head. The small handles protrude completely from the holes, exposing the straps that need to be securely connected. I used a safety pin to fix the problem so let's see how it works in the long run.

While I love the pattern on this hat, the button closure on the back does not stay closed. If you put some pressure on your back when pulling the cap on or trying to put it on tighter, it all comes out - a problem on a windy day at the beach. I love everything else about this hat so we're keeping it but I wish I didn't have to worry about losing it every time my son wears it.

Great hat for the price! It's like spending $20 at a surf shop. Perfect fit for my 2 year old girl. She also has a big head which was always at 90% so haha someone here made the hat huge by putting it next to her husband's hat and I honestly don't know how that's possible because I couldn't get it on my head no matter how hard I tried. Definitely intended for toddlers. Someone else said the design looks pixelated but I don't think so? Looks exactly as shown in the picture.
