Works very well. Cut a small piece of wax paper and stick it on the end before using. I read the reviews before buying, many complained that it's hard to tear off because it sticks to the reel. Before using it I added a small square of wax paper at the end. Every time I use it I keep wax paper when wrapping the box. I take it off when I'm ready to cut the same piece of wax paper and glue it back onto the end. No problem. Much easier than fragile to write around the box.

We're moving - with so many boxes to pack and move, people don't read Fragile when you write it on the box, but it's nice to see when you use this tape. Plus, you can zip the bag up and save a step, which makes a world of difference when you have a house full of things to pack. This is an easy way to display this message on your packages. The product is ok and works well. The tape turned out to be a bit thinner than I expected and therefore a bit fragile. I recommend using a packing tape dispenser for this. Be aware that if you cut a piece, the tape will quickly reattach to the roll and you will have to "restart" it. Nothing out of the ordinary, but due to the thinness of the strap, rebooting can be annoying. I found I had to maneuver my fingers before it could fall off so I could hook one side to make it easier to grab the next
