Excellent heavy duty work gloves

Use these gloves primarily for logging in cold, snowy weather. Elastic cuffs are a blessing. I've had other insulated leather gloves without a good wrist seal, made worse by snow and sawdust from the back. Leather stays flexible after many wet uses while other brands start to get stiff. The leather is quite durable, but the slight loss is more than made up for in comfort and protection. Great gloves - I keep several pairs year after year as these are the best durable gloves I have found.

Pros
  • SLIP-ON STYLE: Elastic knitted wrist keeps the cold out and the no-zip construction makes the glove easy to put on and take off
Cons
  • Light wrinkles

My pair turned out to be poor quality

I ordered this pair based on good reviews. The problem with my pair was that the inner lining was much smaller than the outer leather shell. This results in the fingertips reaching the ends of the liner when donning the glove, but staying about 1 inch from the leather fingertips. Moving your fingers inside the glove is like moving a cloth glove with leather overlays. Maybe I just have a defective pair. One of the gloves also had a scratch on the skin itself. This may have been a handling issue…

Pros
  • WATER RESISTANT: Our HydraHyde leather makes these gloves waterproof and breathable and designed to remain softer and more supple for the life of the glove
Cons
  • Only available in black

Respectable; Better there; Avoid the heat

A decent set of winter gloves. Nice alternative to my choppers when I need real grip on the outside (like a shovel etc.). Doesn't fit as well as their blue fabric-lined version (which looks more like gardening gloves). They have the same lining but don't offer an inward fit like all leather shoes do (I ordered the same size for both). Also, I've used them to make fires and the skin shrinks dramatically when exposed to heat. The heat from the logs wasn't hot enough to even burn the skin, but it…

Pros
  • WINTER WORK GLOVES: 100g 3M Thinsulate keeps you warm without weighing you down
Cons
  • Out of style
