This is a fun little book! The guide is fine if you know the basics of watercolor painting. Have fun with it, it's made for fun not art. Good quality paper, but you need watercolors and brushes.

I love this watercolor sketchbook! Instructions are step-by-step, giving "formulas" for mixing colors but still allowing for personal interaction. My problem is often to make the sketch of the subject believable so that it doesn't end up looking like a caricature. The pre-drawn pages and 2-up format give me confidence and practice. Thank you and "Bravo!" authors.

I like to paint with watercolors, but I'm not very good at drawing or sketching. It was interesting working on this book. The cards are divided into 4x6 sizes so I use them for postcards to send to friends. OR attach them to a card for a greeting card or other occasion. Excellent. I learned a lot about mixing colors to get the best color from the instructions (with the occasional typo, but I've been working on it).
