This little guy is awesome and has allowed me to point my Nest Hello in the right direction. The instructions, or lack thereof, were a little annoying.

I needed my Nest Hello to be able to rotate more than the Nest Wedge that came with the unit. I was hoping that this product would give me the claimed 35% viewing angle and it did not disappoint. It arrived on time and well packaged. The instructions were easy and I was able to install it myself in just 10-15 minutes.

This product does the job, I just wanted a better base plate for the Hello Nest doorbell. The final wired doorbell left a visible color difference as it was much wider than the doorbell than the outlet and the house was painted. The new wall plate does all of that and arrived quickly. I also don't feel overwhelmed by something as simple as a wall panel. Others wanted to charge twice as much.

They're great when you need more than the wedge that comes with the Hello doorbell when you need more angles for better angled viewing. The only thing I don't like is that when tilted there is a real chance of water or snow getting behind the doorbell unless the doorbell is covered enough to avoid it. However, you are more likely to get bugs behind your doorbell anyway because of the hole created behind the doorbell.

The wall plate itself would get 5 stars but the swivel mount gets 1 so 3 stars. The wall plate looks good, feels solid, and covers a hole in my wall. Then again, the hinge just doesn't work. Screws are included which I think should prevent slipping. Do nothing. The top and bottom where the Nest Hello should snap are completely smooth so the Nest Hello cannot be held in the swivel. The product consists of a wall plate, a corner bracket and a swivel bracket that attaches to the socket. So, once installed, the product looked nice, but there are a couple of serious problems. First, it's very easy to pry the device out by the top pivoting tab with a flathead screwdriver (because that's exactly what I did to pop out the outlet).
