This is great weather protection. It is durable, weather resistant and easy to install. However, the included switch is average at best. The same cover is available without the switch at a slightly cheaper price - I recommend getting this version and buying the more powerful switch that comes with it.

I have tried many covers for this box but none fit properly or make a seal around the box. The box is probably of poor quality but I didn't want to change it. This lid sealed the box and fitted perfectly into the switch opening. Very happy with it. Here's a photo, it's below (I took a photo of the box above).

I've tried many other so-called weatherproof switches and they were either very difficult to install or didn't close well, or both. This switch cover was the solution I was looking for to weatherproof the external switch in my garage, it installs easily with the foam pad attached, looks great, seems very durable, really weatherproof, easy to twist and close use.
