I have tried many face moisturizers with no success. Either they're too creamy and don't absorb, making my face greasy, or they don't moisturize my face and I end up with dry, flaky skin (especially around my nose). I read somewhere that someone has used almond oil as a moisturizer and swears by it, so I decided to give it a try and I wasn't disappointed! It absorbs quickly and leaves your face feeling fresh and soft. Also, I haven't noticed that my face dries out during the day, so it does a…

Skin Saver works well with creams and moisturizers

OMG I just LOVE Weleda's Almond line. I have very dry and sensitive skin and was as desperate for something that would hydrate me without causing breakouts as I was when I was a teenager. After trying several Weleda products (chosen because they are good for sensitive skin), I finally settled on a product combination with almonds. This cold cream is amazing! (It's not the cold cream Grandma used to remove her makeup. It used to be called Almond Cream or something and I don't know why they…

New Ingredients: Alcohol and Zinc Sulfate.

I've been using this cream for many years, mainly as a nighttime moisturizer. The ingredients have changed. Namely, they added alcohol and zinc sulfate. The new formula is more watery and I don't really like it. I'm also not a fan of alcohol in skin products. I am very disappointed in this change and think I may need to look into a new moisturizer. Spring.

Perfect for rosecea! Almonds are so calming!

Almond Moisturizing Face Cream is the best I've seen in my 40+ years on the planet. I have rosacea and celiac disease. My complexion is a horrible mess of dry, scaly patches and small, inflamed pimples. I've tried Clinique, Mary Kay, Oil of Olay, Nutrogena, and just about every other budget product with disappointing results. When I tried Weleda I had absolutely no burning, itching, watery eyes or pimples. It has almost no smell and it's just the right thickness to sit on my skin and let…

I've been using this for at least 15 years.

I'm definitely a beauty addict but the one thing I never say no to is this moisturizer. It smells of barley, moisturizes very well and absorbs well. My skin has a nice glow, doesn't look greasy or oily. I know a lot of women my age who look like nice Italian leather bags because tanning beds were very popular when I was young but thank god my skin is soft and supple and I know it's partly because of this lotion.

I didn't like this one

I've tried several Weleda face lotions and I didn't like this almond the least. I've read over and over that it helps reduce redness on my cheeks and I get some of it in the morning. However, I didn't realize that it helped me and didn't make my face as beautiful and healthy as other Weleda lotions. I love the moisturizing iris and baby calendula. They instantly give me a plump and radiant look that I love. I was also disappointed that the expiry date was 2 months late when I received this…

Very simple - too expensive for 1 oz

! When my skin started to really dry out due to the cold, dry winter, it started to sting my face a little when applying! I've seen another customer mention that it contains alcohol and I know it's really bad for very dry skin. This is still a little too harsh for sensitive, dry, cracked, or flaky skin. I was hoping it would be more moisturizing than it turned out to be and didn't have any particular skin lightening benefits. The smell isn't harsh, just a floral baby powder. Provides basic…

upset. - Face

Soothing Almond Face Cream has a pleasant texture and is easy to apply. It absorbs quickly into the skin. I don't feel any burning so it's good for my sensitive skin. However, it's very light, so much so that when I wake up, parts of my face are dry and scaly and I have to use a heavier moisturizer as well. However, my skin looks very fair in the morning upon waking up, so it matters. Hey there). If you are familiar with skin food then you know that this is a very rich and thick consistency. I…

Great for my dry and sensitive skin!

My search for a natural moisturizer that would work for my dry skin and doesn't contain essential oils, which my skin hates, led me here. I've been using it for a few months now and I'm really addicted to it. I have dry skin and live in a dry high mountain area, so I live and die by the quality of my moisturizer. I find that most moisturizers are watery and have very little effect on my skin. Most of the ones I've tried, I feel some moisture after applying them at night, but wake up in the…
