The tie looks great but doesn't last long. The edges started fraying after our son wore it once. After the second time it looked terrible because of the frayed material on the sides and all over the tie.

This is the first time I buy a polyester tie. There is a stiffness that silk ties don't have, and the fabric doesn't "forgive" as easily after the ties are untied. But it was normal for a child to wear it to an event. The colors are clearly bright.
