I shoot about 1000 photos a week (surf school, sports) and use a CF reader. I've broken two San Disk Image Mate readers over the years (the contact was bent due to CF card being inserted incorrectly) so I gave this one a try. The CF slot is very narrow and it seems impossible to insert it incorrectly. Reading the card is quick and everything works as advertised. I don't use other slots, but for a professional photographer using CF cards, this is a great product.

Excellent card reader, I LOVE OTG SUPPORT. It's aluminum and very well made, **only accepts CF TYPE I cards if you have a Type II card. I'm only deducting 1 star for the range of mm items of cards it reads, but for the price it does exactly what it says on the tin, +*** OTG support. Note *, comes with a micro-USB adapter and, like most readers, has no connection indicator. I have a couple of CF readers with some backlighting, which will be especially useful for read errors.

UPDATE on previous negative review: In response to my negative review they emailed asking if they could send me a replacement. I received a replacement product shortly after and it works great. Your proactive response was both unexpected and valuable as I did not contact WEME about the defective item. Previous Review: Not recognized by Samsung tablet or Windows 10 PC. This OTG card reader is amazing. For the following reasons: - The card reader itself is comfortable to hold. It's made of lightweight aluminum and feels sturdy. Feels a lot better than some of the cheap plastic knockoffs I've dealt with in the past. The USB 3.0 port is also solid and fits snugly into all of my USB ports. The OTG connection is not a problem. Replaced my old unit (which lasted almost 10 years) with this one. It connected quickly and easily to my late 2011 MacAir and was recognized immediately. File transfer was fast too. The USB cable is quite heavy and should be fine for many uses, but it's also quite stiff resulting in the device not lying completely flat on my desk, which isn't a huge downside as it still works well.
