Too bad they didn't bother to give them some durability. Like metal inside the handle. Plastic just shouldn't be used for certain things, especially those that are under torque. One popped right off and I had to use super glue, hopefully it will hold. If your headlights are outdated and difficult to turn, don't buy them! I even lubricated the threaded on/off mechanism and used an extension.

This has been a real nightmare for me. At first I thought it would work perfectly, but when I tried to turn the switch the plastic threads inside the knob broke off. Frustrated, I decided to buy a metal handle to use with the extensions included in this kit. I was only able to rotate the switch 4 times before the extension snapped into the center of the new metal knob. TLDR: These are poor quality but can work with really cheap bulbs that are easier to rotate.

Westinghouse replacement grips were a life saver. We have just moved and one of our antique brass lamps lost its handle in transit. It was unusable and I was afraid we would have to throw it away. However, the replacement grips fit perfectly and everything is fine again now. It's also great that you get two in a pack, so we're prepared if that ever happens again.
