"pen" seems a potential source of error. I find it hard to believe that these spot welds on <6 mil plastic (a total guess on my part) could give the consumer a false sense of security. In addition, the configuration is only suitable for portrait poses. We have two for our evening reading at the spa. I hope the two survive the daily routine before the return period expires. The item was too big compared to what was advertised but the company included a note to apologize for the oversize - if that happened! - and also warned that the item was not airtight! Water drains easily, but they admitted that when submerged in water, they cannot guarantee the contents will stay dry. The case is nice and looks like it will take a lot of damage. The only reason I am returning it is that the home button does not work due to the plastic. You must take your iPad out of the case to use it.
