You expect it to be heat resistant (as described). This is not a moderately hot iron, but it melted! It is made out of some kind of polyester NOT some heat resistant material like cotton. If it was worth the hassle I would return it! False advertising and fraud by the seller.

I bought this item thinking it was a pad. This is a fabric that can be used to cover clothes to keep them from shining. This works fine, but don't put the iron on the cotton as it will burn. This should not be a supplement as more people may be buying this product.

This is one of those simple things that just work. My wife and I iron our own clothes and this mesh pad makes that tedious job easier. The lady says she can keep the iron on a higher temperature and use the steam to iron more delicate fabrics.
