I take good care of my kitchen utensils because there are so many that you could use them. I think these cake boards are really important to keep your cake board from getting scratched. I only bake cakes for my family but I still find it useful and if you want to bake a cake you might as well have all the supplies you need.

I needed various circular boards as bases for various expressive art projects. They fitted perfectly, but the Wilton brand had holes in the center and a waxy finish. Great for cakes but not the best for artwork. I like the size selection. They are very durable and it was a good price.

I am using a cake stand for the first time. After reading the comments I didn't understand that I needed a cake stand. I did a little research and bought this cake package. I always bake cheesecake. This was my first time making a coconut cake, with practice I'll be able to do it. The board is sturdy and fits the dimensions of my 8 inch cake. When the icing gets on the board, it's easy to erase. Just use a dry paper towel.
