Fun STEM for older babies or toddlers

Gave this to a 9 month old brother who also loved it. The little girl watched as her brother pitied the balloons at various points and dropped them. She had to move her hands for the first time, but then she noticed that the balls were going into the holes and they had to be thrown. She was so excited watching them fall and ring the bell. The call wasn't too loud. The family continues to enjoy this gift and I know it will have many uses.

Pros
  • Testers gave high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • weak

Well made toy. Easy to use!

A gift for my 2 year old grandson who loves rolling things over weird things. Cars, balls, you get the idea. He hasn't played with it yet, but I have and it was fun! This toy is unbeatable. Whichever hole the child puts the ball in, it rolls down, rings the bell, and reaches the bottom of the ramp. This is self-correcting, so even if the ball is pushed the wrong way, the ball will bounce back in the right direction and roll all the way down. The thing is solid and the balls are the right weight

Loose and unstable best in learning and education

Good design! My baby liked it. Not good quality. The front bar came loose and we reattached it with wood glue but it doesn't feel like it used to when you throw the ball and when it slides over the bar it's not as smooth as it used to be earlier and the ball stops off the pole and not into the hole. I thought that was the only problem, the back bar also got bumpy (didn't come off the tree) but just doesn't carry the ball forward. He pauses. What takes away the pleasure of playing this toy.

  • Absolute legend

Great toy - our friend is not done yet

This is a well built colorful Hape Roller Derby toy that I bought for my 20 month old grandson. I bought this toy for its solid wood construction and durability. It worked exactly as expected, even on thick carpet. The balls rolled along the rails, bounced from side to side through special holes and landed on the underlying bell, which made a pleasant soft ringing. However, my grandson was more interested in tossing colorful wooden balls around the house than guiding them through a maze that…

He loves it good for learning and education

I sent this toy to our grandson (2 years old) and I heard he loves it. Haven't seen the toy in action but will update my review when I do. Update: We were so happy with this toy and the endless fun it provided our grandson that shortly after purchasing the toy we sent his parents we bought a second one for him to play with our house. And although our grandson who is now 3.5 years old has almost outgrown his two amazing roller derbies, this toy remains on our shelves and is very well received by

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • No performance

A find for curious kids!

This toy is an unexpected treasure! So many ways for a child to have fun and learn! The ball comes in from above, rolls down the blue ramp to the blue hole, goes over the green ramp with the green hole, down the red ramp to the red hole and in. a bell (not loud) and ends with a storage ramp. My kid spends so much time trying to put the ball in different colored holes. When the ramp goes down, he gets on and continues on his way. When the ramp goes up, it returns to it. The bell also makes him…

Some fine tuning is required to make it worth keeping.

I'm not returning this item because I don't really need it but because it bothers me and my 16 months. (1) The balls provided do not always go all the way and get caught on the protrusions next to each hole. (2) Hape replacement balls that should be compatible are not compatible. I used to have a musical pound bank so I bought extra balls to be interchangeable but they get stuck in different places even more. Then he tries to push and knock her over. (3) Again, due to the interchangeability of…
