Winsome Wood Leo Shelving: Small and Large Espresso Shelves for Stylish Storage Review

As soon as it came out of the box I saw what an awful cover. I only had what appeared to be shelves and a platter and each looked very stained and ruined. It looked like someone smeared glue on them after painting them. I'm incredibly disappointed. I ordered 2 and only opened one. When I saw how terrible the finish was, I didn't have to start second. Waiting for UPS delivery.

This is the second one I buy. This is a good size to use next to the sofa as a table/movie shelf. The second arrived on time. In good shape. All parts. I have either 2 right panels or 2 left panels. Parts are marked with letters in the instructions. It would be nice if they put stickers with inscriptions on them. The screw holes are smaller than the screw itself. If I can get a replacement sidebar I'll be just as happy with this second purchase as I was with the first.

Bought this shelf along with 3 other shelves from this brand (2 narrow/4 shelves and 1 narrow/2 shelves) to fit out my closet. I could make shoe racks out of them, store handbags and fold sweaters. What I like about them is that they are very sturdy shelves and I was able to put my very tall 5 inch heels on the shelves, although most cheaper shoe racks don't fit high heels. I'm very happy with my purchase and glad I didn't spend so much money organizing my wardrobe in a rented room.

It was like opening a Christmas present! This wooden shelf is beautiful for its size and functionality. I am very impressed. No scratches, dents or stains. Stain and paint even everywhere. The color is beautiful. And the finish has a nice shine. Assembly: Assembly in 30-40 minutes. I took my time not to ruin or scratch the finishes (don't over-tighten screws). If you want something that looks like real wood and is technically real wood but can't afford more, this isn't a bad option. rather, pieces of board are connected to one another. It feels solid enough, though, especially for the advertised 25-pound-per-shelf rating. The two pre-drilled holes were too big resulting in the screws not holding as well as I would have liked. This is a great little bookcase, especially for the price. It's packaged very well, fairly easy to assemble and it's a real tree. I assembled it in about 15 minutes. The instructions are mostly pictures, but parts of it are arranged in such a way that it is difficult to assemble incorrectly. I think you could turn the shelves upside down if you're not careful; they are only machined on one side. Therefore, some attention is required. I also didn't notice that all the screws are hidden. I'm a book geek. I love books and I love looking at them and presenting them in a functional and beautiful way. These bookshelves are great. I bought two of these items, three interior shelves, a 4 inch version. I'm rating this as an 'Acceptable Plus' but I don't understand how this rates 4 or 5 stars. Delivery and packaging: The item arrived quickly and was in a sturdy box.
