👠 Low-Profile Heel Review

I bought these shoes for an 86 year old family member who is not as good on his feet as he used to be. We live in West New York, on the shores of Lake Ontario, so we know what snow/ice is. I was glad to read the reviews that you don't have to take them off to ride and you can walk in them on the floor. So getting in and out of the car, shops and other buildings, daily use will not be a problem. And the owner says it's true. He can't get excited about these boots. He feels more confident walking

My knees and thighs are shot so I can't dance on the ice like I used to and still survive. When jumping out of a car or truck, I need something that can be put on quickly with one hand since my other hand uses the car to balance. Maybe my hands are old and clumsy, but whatever it is, I can't apply Yakthrax with one hand. I can easily put on hiking shoes with one hand. I also had issues with the Jacthrax staying in place after walking an hour or more and the hiking boots staying in place. At…

I LOVE these ice spikes. I didn't know if I just wanted the treatment but you're on hold so no problem. An added benefit is that you can tiptoe on delicate floors to avoid damage. I have a steep start and they have never let me down. (I slipped on ice at our local airport last year and broke my ankle, so I'm sensitive to slipping.) The only issue is that I'm 14/15ft tall, so I ordered the largest set that I could. The strap is so long I can barely get it on my muck boots. Velcro doesn't fit. I…
