it smells, but I think that means it really is pure witch hazel.

I applied it with a cotton pad last night and tonight. It smelled TERRIBLE! I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell that awful. and for some reason the skin around my mouth also started to burn. Made with Mario Badescu Rose Water Tonic, it was so nice on my skin and smelled great, but there wasn't much pure witch hazel in it. So, after some research, witch hazel should smell like someone died, so I guess I got what I ordered. I hope this works because, GOD, it just smells awful. People recommend

I will buy again when I run out!

I like this because it doesn't dry out my skin or strip it of oil. Cleans, but does not have to be moistened afterwards. I put some in a separate bottle with some tea tree oil when I need a deeper cleanse. It's hard to find alcohol-free witch hazel in stores. It contains 0.15% benzoic acid, which I didn't realize when I bought it. It doesn't matter because it's such a small amount. Ingredients: 99.85% Hamamelis Virginiana (steamed natural herbal distillate of witch hazel), water, 0.15% benzoic…

Refreshing! best on face

The product I ordered arrived in 2.8 ounce bottles. Didn't realize I was buying a 2 pack but the price was right no matter what. I don't know how retailers get away with this, but they often put a sticker with their barcode on a product label that contains important information. I removed the label (see photo) hoping to find the expiration date and now the bottle is sticky): I have to tape it shut so my fingers don't stick when I handle the bottle. I was surprised to find no expiration date as…

Amazing, purest quality witch hazel you can find

I love this product as a twice daily toner (or use it in my skincare formula where I use it as a base for active ingredients). All witch hazel products are usually: (1) cheap witch hazel water saturated with alcohol (Dickinson's WH), or (2) a small amount of good quality witch hazel water mixed with a mixture of humectants and glycerin (Thayers). ). As someone with oily skin, I've found that Dickinson encourages my skin to produce more oil (alcohol removes the lipid layer) at the end of the…
