We bought this for our son's first birthday. He and his older sister (3.5 years old) have a lot of fun playing with him. It is very strong and well made. Perfectly sized tools for little hands. You can play with them in different ways. Drill and saw make noise and move. There are "vises" on the side that slide in and out as you turn the handle. The "nails" move up and down and make noises. I am very happy with this purchase and the child loves it.

My mom got this for my daughter for her first birthday and she loved it for 3 years and now my son has discovered it and he loves it too. He's definitely growing with the kid - there's something for every level: music, a little motor turning a screwdriver, all sorts of sounds, and moving objects hitting him with a hammer. They even play with him and are both interested. None of my kids are into toys so the delay is amazing I would say!

Got my son for his first birthday and this is one of his favorite toys! A month and a half later, he still enjoys playing with it every day. Besides using the shape sorter (and attaching all the little objects he can find in the tube) he loves all the fun noises and music he plays. circle, although it names all other shapes. Excellent toy! I bought it for my 18 month old son. He loves all moving parts especially the falling ball and music. The saw blade rotates when the handle is squeezed. It names the shapes as they are placed in the shape sorter. He counts the numbers on the front ruler as the slider moves (the numbers 2 and 4 are spoken with a Japanese accent, perhaps casually, but delightfully).
