Bought this magnet set to try something new with my cat eye gel polish. That works great! I tested all the magnets in the set, the little ones don't have very strong magnets so you have to move them slowly to make a pattern or in the case of the flower, just hold them over the same spot for quite a long time. But they definitely work as intended and create cool patterns.

the magnets are not strong at all. The only thing that worked at all was the bar. Says the item can be returned but for $10 I cut my losses. I will not buy again. Very disappointed. I was hoping to use this to have some fun for my customers. 😭

Out of 5 tools only the 2 shortest ones with large rectangular magnets worked properly and I already have several of these (they were in some of my magnetic polishes). None of the other magnets were strong enough to create very noticeable patterns - very weak and blurry. I was debating whether it was worth the hassle to get them back when a magnet fell out of the tip of one of the tools and I was fed up and sent the set back.

Only two of the five included in this set worked and I've added an additional basic nail magnet below for comparison. The "flower" was uneven and the rest of the magnets, except two large square ones, did NOT work. I ended up sending it back and getting a refund. Not sure if I have bad magnets or what happened but hopefully yours will be better 🤗

Very similar to these gel polishes, it took me a few tries to get used to the thickness of the thicker ones but I realized I was trying the To make buff thin streaks on the brush before applying it, and you really need a lot of polish on the brush to get a smooth, even application. Otherwise, you will need several coats, leaving the nail too thick. I'm a bit sloppy and need nail latex to keep it from getting on my skin. The two heaviest magnets work great, the others don't have enough power to really do too much. A pen in my set broke but it was so cheap I didn't even get mad. So if you need basic 3D polishing magnets and they are on sale, buy them, but remember, two large magnets are best.

I bought these magnets for colors and designs with multiple lines, so I'm very upset that the only magnets that work properly are the standard stripes/circles (which I already have ) are separate ).
