This is a very ordinary baking stick. The metal isn't very thick, but it's not super thin either. The wand itself is quite short so kids need to be close to the fire to use it. This is a fun trick and this stick could use some improvement. It makes impressive campfire desserts.

Friends introduced it to us on a camping trip. They were so good we had to have some. We couldn't wait for our next hike and have used them at home on the fire. You were so good again! Very well built (I like that it's easy to turn). We've made both savory (eggs, cheese, and bacon) and sweet (chocolate, peanut butter, fruit, etc.) and loved everything. It takes a bit of patience to cook dough over a fire but my 6 year old managed it successfully. You can't go wrong with this!

The hot dog attachment is also a nice little addition and will find use as it holds the hot dog very well and I'm not afraid of it falling out.
