Comfortable Non-Slip Shoes

I work over 50 hours a week in a bakery with some quick footwork and this shoe has been a life saver. They fit perfectly from day one and didn't need the typical "breaking in period" that most shoes I use do. I also have a special orthotic that fits directly into the shoe over the existing insole. The non-slip grip is great, I can easily walk to the ovens on a potentially slippery floor. The only downside is that the material feels thin. I haven't had them that long but they don't look like…

Only time will tell - Shoes

Today I wore them for a 1 mile walk for the first time. They fit well but are stiff, which I noticed with my first pair of Ryka shoes a few years ago. So far I've felt the support has been very good, but the "feel" was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just too used to my well-worn Ryka Dash boots. This new pair takes some getting used to. The insole feels unusual as my toes and heel seem to be under the instep. Maybe this is better and helps with the aches and burning pains I get as a result of…

Mesh sneakers are terrible and don't align feet

I've tried several sneakers/mules. And they kept coming. I have plantar fasciitis; and the doc said shoes with more stiffness would be more useful. Mesh sneakers are terrible and will not align your feet. SO when the sneakers fold in half. NOT GOOD! These Roars fit perfectly. My big toes flex which sometimes makes me order more; but 9B was perfect! I've found I can carry 8 1/2 wide Ryka mules. As they say: Rykas are made for women. Wide at the toe, narrow at the heel. This shoe is also…

Not as comfortable or fitting as the Endure XT2

I bought these to replace a worn out pair of Ryka Endure XT-2s that are no longer made. I was so disappointed. I've been wearing them for my daily commute for a few months now and the Intent just doesn't fit as well as the Endure which is a Ryka replacement. The shoe seems to have more volume overall and my feet have way too much room and definitely not much lateral support. Also, the arch support is nowhere near what I experienced on the Endure. The leather doesn't look as high quality as on…
