Well done! The design is beautiful and the metal is strong enough to be durable but bends easily for easy installation. Here's a handy tip: since it's only dyed, I'd suggest covering the inside of the cuff with a couple coats of clear nail polish AND hairspray. This keeps the oil and sweat on your skin from interacting with the metal or paint and won't turn your skin green!

I was really surprised at how pretty it was considering it was meant to be part of a costume. I admit it looked a bit sturdier in the photos but I am very happy with this order. It was a little oversized but easy to fit and (again considering this is a COSTUME PART) was well made and pretty enough to be used in a suitless setting. I will definitely be wearing this outside of the intended goals of the steampunk convention. I love it!

As an artist I know how to make a product stand out, so I painted it a bit. When I received the 2 cuffs they were very dark brown in color. From a distance it was difficult to see details and they didn't look like the pictures taken. Using model paint I made 3 smaller gears in copper, a large gear in gold, a heart shaped brass heart and a small butterfly in metallic green which worked very well.
