I think the spring in the watch has been sitting for too many years. The watch was never fully wound. I know automatic watches well. When I was growing up, self-winding and self-winding watches were the only watches out there.

I bought this for my wife for her 11th wedding anniversary. She loved it and that says a lot! She has worn Swiss Wenger watches for many years and only wears white gold, platinum or silver. It was perfect for her. another great Seiko purchase, thanks Seiko.

My wife likes the look of the watch but she seems to stop because she doesn't wear it all the time and has to reset the date and time daily. I don't know how active a person needs to be to keep working, but don't believe it unless you're very active.

Bought this watch for my wife two years ago. We store them on the movement along with our other automatic watches, including the Seiko men's watch. This SYMC07 women's watch does not tell the time well, while Seiko men's watches are fairly accurate. We expected better quality from Seiko. Wouldn't recommend it.

I like the bargain price design: modern, goes with any style of dress Weight: can't tell if I wear it or not It's also waterproof, I swim in it every day but I wouldn't dive with it. I would definitely recommend this item to any woman, I've had enough of old watches that don't even last a year.

I bought this watch as a gift for my 80 year old mother. see them okay. However, none of us could read the day/date because it's so small. For this reason I sent the watch back. But if you see really well, you will probably like the watch because it is very beautiful.

Excellent watch. Looks great for work/everyday wear. I love automatic watches and this is a great price. The only complaint I have is that the stylus, or whatever you want to call it, the part you pull out to set the time is difficult to get out. When you're in a hurry and haven't worn your watch for a few days and need to adjust it, it can be difficult. So lesson learned, don't try to set the time when you're in a hurry. I also love this watch and have owned it for almost two years now.

The picture shows a darker face than it really is (which makes it even better). It would need to be professionally resized (I only had to spend $5 at a local jewelry store and they did it right away) because it doesn't have a standard pin. This quality also gives it a slimmer look! I wear mine every day so I really appreciate the lack of a battery change. The days are in English and Spanish, plus they're not too big to make it look nasty. The only downside is that I didn't get it sooner!
