Perfect Fit: Power Transmission Products

They work great in a 4" dust collection hose (threaded on the end (and the other cone fits my 4" thin wall PVC dust collector ).Collection tube Facilitates connection to the device.

Pros
  • Makes dust collection easier
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

All my hoses have opposite threads

Looks good and appears to be good quality but there is one fatal flaw. All my hoses are the wrong threads! Seriously this thing is right hand threads (really tight) but all my dust hoses, which are from several companies, have the opposite spiral pattern.I had to force the thing into my hose with great force and am really not sure if it seals tight. To me a complete waste. I never thought these companies would make these things somehow incompatible.

Pros
  • Threads for 4" dust collection hose
Cons
  • Crumpled

A great idea! in stock

I put one of these on one end of my 4" dust collection hose and D4261 on the other end, female/male if you need a dust flow like any vent What is odd is that they added coarse threads because they thought you could screw a fitting onto a hose - well the hose I got has a "left hand" thread and the fitting has a right-hand thread. Clamp 4 inch. D4261 also has a left-hand thread, but it's too short to hang, so it still needs to be clamped. So hey should have just been joking and calling it good. I

Pros
  • Tapered end to attach to 4" dust collector
Cons
  • High price
