I cannot say enough good things about this product as that is how I received it. It was expensive for a butter dish but I liked the picture. Who in their right mind would put a ceramic butter dish in an envelope with a single layer of bubble wrap? For real?

After years of living in Europe during military service it's hard to see how anyone can tolerate a return to hard butter! Enter the British Deep Lid Butter Dish and all will be right with the world again. This was purchased for my wife who absolutely loves this dish. The weight and finish are typical of old world pieces passed down from generation to generation.

Love the quality and look of this enclosed oil pan. I bought the "Tea Coffee Oil Tray with Lid" and they all look great. This product is based on designs found in England or other European countries. So the shape is perfect for the wider rectangular buttersticks you see here. When not wider sticks, this tray holds stick halves and softened butter very well. If you buy the right coffee or tea tins, you'll be glad to know that they have a rubber seal to keep the product fresh. Highly recommend…
