🎀 Wright Products Simplicity Ivory Twill Tape, 1/2 inch X 18 yards Review

Good heavy twill, firm and unspliced. I also bought a medium weight twill tape from the tape factory. This one was much harder.

I ordered this sewing tape to tie some homemade aprons. The tape is just what I needed. It is durable and of excellent quality. The large plastic spool prevented the spool from being crushed or tangled and made measuring easier. It can be easily cut with fabric scissors. I'm happy with the quality of the tape and will definitely buy it again for the next project.

I bought this to make ring loops for my homemade electrical conduit project and fabric curtains for my porch. He did exactly what I needed. This is a standard light bone colored cotton twill that is very flexible. It was way more than I needed for this project, but the packaging makes it easy to store and use without getting tangled. It will be nice to have many things on hand in the future.

I ordered a couple of these and one or two got taped together. Completely unacceptable in my book but not for manufacturers. The tape itself is ok - the weight is good but some reels were rougher and a bit narrower than others. I would still highly recommend them though - just be aware that they are average quality not high quality. And if you count every inch, watch out for seams.

Medium weight twill. Ideal as a drawstring when sewing pajama bottoms. The only downside would be that the ribbon is described as ivory but the color is closer to my natural twill ribbon. Since I also wanted white twill, I bleached a few yards of this ribbon and after a few hours it was white. Medium twill holds up well to bleaching and I would do the painting. This would be a good color to start with if you are planning too.

Perfect size and color. At first I was disappointed that it wasn't brilliant white, but it turned out to work better when I used it as a towel rail, for example. I have all the colors of the towels and the natural color kinda takes a backseat which I prefer. For some reason almost none of my towels have hangers. Corrected! I have bought this twill tape several times because I use it in my shop. Wright twill tape is of high quality. However, the last time I bought it, I ordered Anrox Supply Co. It didn't come out on a screw as shown in the photo. . .but wound up in the spool. The twill weave is woven significantly thinner and looser. .this was definitely NOT the Wright brand as advertised in this listing.
