Although this product might seem like a good idea in theory, in practice it is not used. This makes the collar look very unnatural and rather unattractive. My wife noticed that my collar looked like it was taped shut. I had to agree and return immediately. Especially at the price of $20. The magnets also slipped a lot and seemed to fall off easily.

Have been using for a few months now. I ordered 2 different lengths. I lost a set of these and don't know where. I'm pretty sure I forgot to take them out of my shirt before it went in the wash. When the magnets are held, the intent of these works great. My collars look fantastic. However, I lost the original magnets that came with the kit. All in all I think this is a great idea. The loss of the stay is my own fault. Losing magnets sometimes seems to happen no matter what.

I've been using them for almost 10 years (when they first appeared). They are brilliant and work very, very well. I've never lost a magnet. This item works relatively well on thin shirts but if you are wearing a heavy shirt or winter clothing the spacing is thick enough to allow a slap on the collar to remove the magnets, and then you have to go fishing with your shirt and hope it doesn't go south of your waist or it will fall on your pant leg and be lost forever. I almost lost one after my seat belt cut my shirt collar in my car. Plus, it works better than any other collar available.

I tried them out and was initially impressed with the idea. At the time of writing, I can't justify $20 for these collar stands. The material seems good, but the magnets themselves keep falling off or shifting, making these $20 collars overpriced. i'm not a fan
