The work is described in detail. I used it to set up my Arlo Pro in a pot next to my front door. Since the camera is rotatable thanks to the ball and magnet mount, it was very easy to position it to get a good shot. Great product if you don't want to permanently install a camera.

This is my second purchase. I bought my first to hide my Arlo Pro with a plant. and it worked really well :) You might need a hammer if you want to poke it deeper into the potting soil, but it worked for me even after a few months of use. The magnet also works very well. I don't know how anyone I think said something about the magnet not sticking well but for me it's worth buying :D

The product seems strong enough to be stuck into the ground on the front/side or in the backyard. The only thing I don't like is that when I put the camera on, it tends to slide down because it doesn't have enough grip. The camera feels too slick to stay in the position you leave it. I had to attach a piece of tape to hold it in place. I wanted to return it but it will cost me more to drive and burn wear and tear on my car than it's worth
