Will not work in BMW E90 fog lights

Got them for my new 9006/HB4 fog lights in my 2011 BMW E90. You are not working. The light works through them, but the car issues a canbus lamp warning for both sides = product is defective!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked fine for 3 weeks then stopped working

Product failed on my 2004 machine. At first the light was on all the time. But after 3 weeks it started to flicker. I contracted with a replacement company but instead they gave me a refund. So I'm not sure if some cars are just not compatible. 5 stars for customer service. 2 stars for the product.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Don't waste money!

They're good when they actually work, which is rare. The ends don't connect securely enough to stay in place. They hit a bump, they switch off. If you have wind from the street, turn it off. Sometimes they turn off even if you sit still and the car is idling. I've seen a few poorly made seat belts but these are by far the worst.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

High-quality assembly, but flickering could not be eliminated.

This could have gotten 5 stars but it didn't eliminate the lights flickering. It's less noticeable, but still there. You can't see the flicker with your eyes, but you can see it with the camera. I could return it but not sure if others would work as well. Quality build although it just doesn't work as they say.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive

I don't know what to think

So I'm not sure if my problem is with the headlights I bought or with this unit. This stopped my 9005 daytime running lights/high beams from flickering, but in the end my daytime running lights were just as bright as my high beams. I've tried this on three different sets of LED bulbs with the same results. I've seen videos where the 9005 leds can be dimmed so I'm not sure if it's just my 2008 Subaru Outback or this product. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Xprite Anti-Flicker Suspension on 2015 Dodge Journey

2015 Dodge Journey had slight flickering of all 6 headlights, high beam, low beam and fog lights only when the engine was running. Tried Alla lighting and Sealight LEDs with built-in drivers. Doesn't matter brand, they all flicker a bit, could live with that, but I've ordered 2 of these anti-flickers for low beam only, and they work. Maybe I'll order High Beam and Tumanok later. I've never had any error codes or other issues, just a slight flickering. On the first day of installation I will…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

Not disappointed, good buy

I was looking to replace my 9005 halogen bulbs on a 2012 Lexus RX 350 with LEDs. When turning on the car, there were no warnings, but the LEDs flashed quickly. I thought it was the voltage difference since the LEDs use less energy. After some googling I decided I needed one of these and this one had the best rating. So ordered and after a simple installation the flickering is gone. Seems to be of good solid construction, thick straps etc. Hopefully they will last. While I can't speak to…

Works with some vehicles and ballast combinations. YRMV.

I hooked them up to my HID 5000K bulbs and Xentec 35W ballasts in my 2015 Honda Civic Hybrid and they still flicker (HID stays on but flickers like candlelight). I switched to CANBUS ballast on my 2005 Mercedes ML350 and the flickering is gone on my Civic. I then used Xentec 35W ballasts and this "Xprite LED Anti-Flicker Harness Canbus" in my Mercedes ML350 and it worked with no flickering. Luckily this worked for me. If yours is flashing, you need a CANBUS ballast. Also, place the Xprite…

The decoders didn't work and the support team NEVER answered me, HORRIBLE!

I bought a set of Beamtech bulbs (9005) to fit a 2008 Lexus RX350 for daytime running lights. Long story short, the Beamtech bulbs didn't work as stated on the Revain page (plug n play and chip conversion) so I had to remove the old bulbs, install the new ones and that's it, NO so I went back to Revain to find the decoder, why? Because Lexus and some other vehicles ONLY send 6V power to operate the DRL, the LEDs will NOT turn ON when the vehicle only sends 6V (in DRL mode). What the decoder is…
