Didn't get the full set. He worked on hard limestone.

Only 6 pairs of tips received. I needed them so I used them instead of returning another set. Used them in a limestone rock. It turns out that there are harder and softer areas in the limestone. They generally didn't work in soft limestone areas because it was too compressible. Also, the pressed limestone dust is like crazy glue to these things, and I had to pound it with a jackhammer a few times. They worked well on harder limestone areas.

Pros
  • Diameter 5/8" (16mm), (use 1/2" hammer bits)
Cons
  • Quick instructions

They really work on masonry bits

You rarely buy a tool and it far exceeds your expectations. These spring chisels REALLY WORK. I needed to break an 8 inch concrete slab and initially had no idea how to go about it. (Jackhammer? Concrete saw? Really big sledgehammer?) If you draw a line in stone with a chisel, then drill a series of holes in concrete with a drill bit along that line, and then slowly hammer those spade bits into the holes, you can thick concrete split very easily. I watched a few videos on the U-Tube channel and

The fastest way to make small boulders out of large boulders

They work great. I doubted they would work that well given the low cost. using a sledgehammer was not effective. I've split about a dozen boulders with it and am very glad I bought it. A good demo hammer makes the job very easy. I replaced the cheap rock drill bit with a 1 1/8" demo hammer and made drilling holes much faster. It should be noted that the 5/8" tool has a hint for drilling a 1/2" Lochs included, which is incorrect. To install a 5/8" tool you must drill a 5/8" hole. You may think…
