I'm not a big fan of perfume but I love a fresh clean scent especially when I'm in the shower. This powder evokes the soft, delicate scent of a beautiful flower. It's soft and soothing, even soothing.

I don't know how long Yardley has been making this product but when I first used it I was shocked because it smelled just like my grandma. It's been gone for 50 years but I swear it's the exact same smell! I've gotten used to it now and I really like it. Violet is my favorite scent. I was happy to find it!

A tried and trusted product from one of the first perfume companies I met in the 1960's. This powder is soft and ideal after bathing. I include this pretty jar in many beauty gift baskets.

I love this scent. However, the aluminum container was dented, which caused the powder to end up in the envelope it was delivered in. Every time I try to shake out the powder it comes out of the damaged part and also out of the holes in the plastic cover. This is the second time the item has arrived damaged. last time it was dishes under water that came disassembled which i sent back.

Nowadays it is very difficult to find scented talc. This product is exactly what I was looking for. It smells great and gives me a fresh feeling when I step outside. I love it!

This talk stinks! These are NOT the Yardley April Violets I used for many years when I was young. I wanted to share a nostalgic and sentimental Christmas moment with my granddaughter, give her this in this challenging year and remind her that everything will be fine for her just like I did when I was little. Thank god I felt it first. The odor is strong and unpleasant, and the talc seems salty. I give her Chanel #5 body powder. It's a lot more expensive, but at least the taste and quality stay…

Violet leaf top notes are very strong. Slightly floral fragrance comes later, but not very strong. I thought it was a purple floral scent with lily of the valley. It's not like this. I won't get it again.

Very good and pleasant smell, not weak but just right. I haven't seen a Yardley product in years but I've always loved Yardley products. The metal tin is like talcum powder from the past, if you like powder with a pleasant smell and silky touch, don't miss this one.
