🍵 YETI Rambler 14 oz Mug: Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Mug with Standard Lid in Clay Finish Review

We love the Yeti line of mugs and glasses. So when I saw the new "Tone" color that reminded me of the look of an executive leather binding, I was thrilled to purchase a 14 ounce mug to add to our collection. Very disappointed to see that it is actually a bright orange color and not the brown/clay color in the photo. The mug is great, but the tone color name and photo are misleading. If you love orange, that's great. But don't expect muted, professional-looking tan leather.

Very happy with this product. It keeps my coffee hot long enough that I forget I'm drinking coffee, but I remember it much later and realize the coffee is still hot. This actually seems to circumvent the laws of thermodynamics, which confuses me as an engineer. The only thing that confuses me a little is that the cup's OD is large enough that it doesn't fit in the cup holders in my truck. No more cold coffee! Sounds silly, but I wanted a coffee mug with a mug-shaped lid for when I'm home in the morning, with a handle. I just prefer to use travel mugs for the car (I also have 2 mugs from Yeti and love them). That way, I can pour a large mug, close the lid, and carry it around the house with me while I do chores. Revain mailed 2 of the 3 crumpled Yetis in a yellow bubble wrap mailer. It just doesn't work because I think someone in the supply chain is throwing food at the wall or something. This Georgia clay mug says a lot about the quality and character of the person holding it. While people assume I drink coffee - sort of a conformist - and see the Yeti logo imprinted on every surface (even the bottom) and assume I paid too much for it - the color moves me to reconsider my impression of me as an everyday hipster.
