Will not fit Bernina 1006 machines

Unfortunately I had to return this sewing foot as it did not fit my Bernina 1006, even though the description promised it would.

Fits my Bernina 1130

I am very happy with this walking foot. I got a little concerned when the lever on my 1130 Bernina that holds the presser foot was a little tight on the white body of the presser foot. In use the foot works great, better than the Bernina walking foot which cost me twice as much. I didn't have a lump of tissue under the white body like other walking legs. Love the fact that it comes with an adapter to use with many of my other legs.

  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • So far so good

Purchased for use with a 1974 Bernina 830 Record. Technically it fits, but the white plastic mount that fits over the needle holder unscrews it too far. After about 2 inches of stitching, the needle screw will be so loose that the needle will fall out. This happened every time the clamp rested on the *screw*, and each stitch loosened the screw. The Singer costs 99,000 and seems to work acceptably. The needle clip on the Singer has a longer neck and the shackle does not rest against the head of…
